What are your hours of operation?
Our official hours are 10am to 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday, but we're not exactly watching the clock, so occasionally we're here to answer calls outside of those hours.

Why do you charge more for purchases made with a credit card?
We are pleased to offer our clients a variety of convenient payment options. If you choose to pay with a bank wire, check or cash, you will receive a 2 percent cash discount, which is a direct result of our lower overhead costs for cash transactions. We believe this to be the fairest policy. Credit card companies charge us a transaction fee based on a percentage of every purchase. Even a small percentage becomes a sizable sum when dealing with transactions in the thousands of dollars. By allowing for a cash discount we're able to provide you with the most value for your money.

How soon can I receive an item I’ve purchased?
If we confirm your payment by the afternoon, we typically can arrange FedEx Priority Overnight shipment for arrival the next morning.

Why do I only have ten days to return a non-branded diamond?
Our ten day return policy on non-branded diamonds is one of the ways we keep prices low. The diamond market moves fast and diamonds in high demand do not stay on the market long. For that reason our suppliers give us a limited period of time to hold a diamond before it's needed elsewhere. If you schedule an appointment with an independent gemologist appraiser for a pre-purchase verification, ten days should leave you plenty of time to confirm your diamond's quality and make an informed decision. Most of our clients call us with their decision directly from the appraiser's office after they've had a chance to inspect their diamond with the assistance of an experienced professional.

Can I make an appointment with you to see a diamond or colored stone in person?
Yes. We are located in the heart of New York City's jewelry district. Please contact us to schedule an appointment. For our out-of-town clients, we would be pleased to ship a diamond or colored stone to an independent gemologist appraiser near you so that you may have an opportunity to inspect the item with absolutely no obligation. For certain items, a fee may apply to cover shipping costs.

Does DiamondOne.com have a diamond upgrade policy?
DiamondOne.com offers a lifetime upgrade or "trade-up" credit on all Infinity branded diamonds. This trade-up credit is based on the original purchase price of your Infinity diamond (less tax). You may use your trade-up credit towards the purchase of any Infinity diamond as long as the purchase price of the new Infinity diamond is one dollar more than the original Infinity diamond's purchase price (less tax). To qualify for a trade-up, the Infinity diamond and all documentation must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. A charge of $200 will be deducted from your trade-up credit if the original laboratory report is not returned, or if the laboratory report is returned in a damaged condition. This offer is only valid for the original purchaser of the diamond and is not transferable.
