Regarding Your Privacy
DiamondOne.com takes your right to privacy seriously. DiamondOne.com strictly protects all information about our clients. DiamondOne.com will never share, lease or sell any client information under any circumstances. The only exceptions are in cases of suspected fraud or other criminal conduct, and/or in cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

Payment
Item(s) must be pre-paid prior to shipping. The only exceptions are items that are shipped directly to an appraiser for pre-purchase approval. DiamondOne.com accepts payment by bank wire transfer, cashiers check, certified check, money order, personal check or the following credit cards: Visa & MasterCard. Item(s) for purchase may not be released until we confirm receipt of payment in our account. If paying by check, we cannot ship or release purchases until we receive official verification from our bank that the check has cleared. This process may take up to several days.

Bank wire transfers are the easy and efficient payment method of choice for most of our clients. For those who have never sent a bank wire transfer, we can fax or e-mail a detailed set of instructions to walk you through this simple process. Usually if you send a bank wire transfer in the morning, we can confirm receipt of your payment and ship your purchase later that same day. Bank wire transfers qualify for our cash discount.

Sales Tax
DiamondOne.com is located in the State of New York. We are required to collect sales tax for purchases delivered in New York. New York sales tax does not apply to merchandise delivered outside of New York. We do not collect sales tax for other states.

Lifetime Upgrade or "Trade-Up"
DiamondOne.com offers a lifetime upgrade or "trade-up" credit on all Infinity branded diamonds. This trade-up credit is based on the original purchase price of your Infinity diamond (less tax). You may use your trade-up credit towards the purchase of any Infinity diamond as long as the purchase price of the new Infinity diamond is one dollar more than the original Infinity diamond's purchase price (less tax). To qualify for a trade-up, the Infinity diamond and all documentation must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. A charge of $200 will be deducted from your trade-up credit if the original laboratory report is not returned, or if the laboratory report is returned in a damaged condition. This offer is only valid for the original purchaser of the diamond and is not transferable.

Shipping
Items Shipped Directly to You:

DiamondOne.com ships all diamonds, colored gemstones and jewelry valued over $1000 to addresses within the continental US via FedEx Priority Overnight at no additional charge. Additional charges may apply to shipments outside of the continental US. We offer free FedEx 2-day shipping for items valued less than $1000 (FedEx Priority Overnight is available for an addition fee). We will contact you with the FedEx tracking number so you may track your package every step of the way. All items are shipped double-boxed for security. Certain high value items are shipped via armored courier when warranted.

Important Notes About Shipping
1) Our insurance coverage ends as soon as the package is delivered, which means you become solely responsible for its contents once it leaves FedEx hands. So we encourage you to inspect the box for tampering or damage before you sign for it. If the outer box is damaged or compromised in a way that you suspect a problem, do not sign for the package. Tell FedEx that you refuse to take delivery and call us immediately. Or you may want to ask the FedEx employee if you can open the package in front of them prior to signing for it. It's likely that only the outer box incurred damage and the inner box is still intact. In either case, call us immediately to let us know.

2) Please keep in mind that even if you are home at the time of delivery, FedEx may leave the box outside your door without notifying you. If you don't want to take the risk of this occurring; or if you think there's even a slight chance you won't be at the delivery location when FedEx shows up; or if you'd rather not trust someone in the mailroom at work with your special package; or if home delivery of your package will "spoil the surprise" for the person the item is intended, we recommend you have us arrange for a "station hold" at your nearest FedEx station. In fact, we would really, in the strongest terms encourage you to have us arrange for a "station hold." That way we know everything is being handled as securely as possible. To find the FedEx station nearest you, go to this FedEx link http://www.fedex.com/us/dropoff/?link=1, enter your address or zip code, and check the boxes for "FedEx Staffed" and "Hold At Location", then click "Find Locations." Choose the FedEx station you prefer for delivery and let us know the station's address. With a station hold, you just show up at the FedEx station with your tracking number and a photo ID to pick up your package. It's that simple, and the extra peace of mind is worth it for all of us!

Note: We reserve the right to insist on a station hold for packages shipped to certain high-risk zip codes, or for any other unspecified security concerns.

Items Shipped Directly to an Independent Appraiser:
This is the easy way to avoid all the delivery hassles and the responsibility of carrying around a very valuable item that you are not insured for. Just make an appointment with a DiamondOne.com-approved independent gemologist appraiser and we'll ship the item directly to the appraiser. Your item will be waiting for you when you arrive at the appraiser's office. After the appraisal we'll send the appraiser our "okay" to release the diamond to you when we confirm receipt of your payment.

Returns
For Infinity and EightStar Branded Diamonds:

DiamondOne.com offers a 30-day, no-questions-asked, full refund. The diamond and all documentation must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. A charge of $200 will be deducted from your refund if the original laboratory report is not returned, or if the laboratory report is returned in a damaged condition. Returns coming from outside of the continental US are subject to a shipping reimbursement fee. Contact us for specific return instructions and a return authorization number (RAN) for the package exterior. We are unable to accept packages returned to us without this information. Once we receive the diamond and confirm its condition, we will notify you and send a refund check. Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of purchase date.

For Non-Branded Diamonds, Colored Gemstones and Non-Custom Jewelry Items:
DiamondOne.com offers a 10-day, no-questions-asked, full refund. Item(s) (including all laboratory documentation) must be returned in original condition; and in the case of non-custom made jewelry items, all tags must be intact, undamaged and in their original place. Returns coming from outside of the continental US are subject to a shipping reimbursement fee. Contact us for specific return instructions and a return authorization number (RAN) for the package exterior. We are unable to accept packages returned to us without this information. Once we receive the item(s) and confirm the condition of the item(s), we will notify you and send a refund check. Returned item(s) must be postmarked within 10 days of purchase date.

For Settings, Custom Orders and Special Orders:
DiamondOne.com does not offer a refund for settings, custom orders or special orders. This includes side stones that weigh less than 0.50ct per stone.

Consignment
DiamondOne.com provides consignment assistance for our clients who wish to sell their jewelry items for the best possible price. DiamondOne.com's consignment program only applies to items sold by DiamondOne.com that still belong to the original purchaser. DiamondOne.com will charge a consignment fee only if your item sells for more than your original purchase price. Contact us for details.

Insurance
All items shipped from DiamondOne.com are insured for their full value until FedEx delivers them to you. Once delivered, you are responsible for the item(s). You agree to accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the item(s), whether it be caused by you or by another, or by any other known or unknown cause, and whether or not such cause is under your control, from and after the point of delivery to your location and up to and including the return to and receipt by DiamondOne.com of the merchandise in its original condition. If you are looking to purchase insurance on your diamonds or jewelry, please contact your local insurance agent.

Conflict Diamonds
DiamondOne.com is in strict compliance with the United Nations Kimberly Process, which prohibits conflict diamonds from entering the United States. The diamonds we sell have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. DiamondOne.com guarantees that its diamonds are conflict-free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the suppliers of these diamonds.

DiamondOne.com reserves the right to correct, update, modify, or otherwise change the terms and conditions of sale, information, and prices at any time at our sole discretion and without notice. Neither DiamondOne.com, nor any of its officers, agents, affiliates, or employees shall be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential, arising from the use of any of the information contained in or received from this site. Appraisals, grading reports, and certificates are subjective and may vary as to qualities and descriptions depending upon the agent, laboratory, or appraiser and the scientific methods applied. You hereby acknowledge that the use of this site and its resources, information, and services shall be solely at your own risk. DiamondOne.com, its products, images, logos, and all other items contained in this site are protected by US and international copyright and trademark laws.
